Ronan Porter currently resides in London. They have an MA in Painting from the Royal College of Art, and a BA (Hons) Fine Art from the University for the Creative Arts, Canterbury. They have exhibited work in Warsaw, Poland; Paphos, Cyprus; and in Canterbury, Newcastle, Margate, and London, England. 

Although primarily a painter creating large scale works in acrylic, their practice is about finding the best way to convey the vastness of their ideas. Whether that's a theatrically large painting that immerses you in another world; or a novel - Ragnar - about whether the human spirit can be stronger than trauma; or a short film that combines sound, text, and image to engage a viewer.
